Fire & Ice 2023

I was tasked with turning a basketball arena into a "twinkling night sky" or "Magical Fairy Garden" for Utah Tech University's annual Fire and Ice Gala, a fundraiser for scholarships. My design encompassed everything from the chiffon walls and upwards, including projections, rigging, and the lighted ceiling. 

Responsibilities included:

• Lead a crew of full and part-time staff, and volunteers during install and change-over

• Create a plot that could be changed overnight for a Benson Boone concert (see Benson Boone)

• Bid Out lighting and rigging packages

• Oversee Installation and Operation of Design

• Design/Program Lighting and A/V systems

• Collaborate with certified riggers to assess safety and practicality of rigging structure and design

• Adhere design to budgetary restraints
